Window film is installed with a mounting solution between the film and the glass. For the first several days, that moisture is still drying out, and how long it takes depends on the weather and the type of film.
Keep your windows rolled up for three to five days. Rolling them down too early can catch the bottom edge of the film and peel it. In cool or rainy weather, give it a little longer.
Seeing a slight haze or a few small water pockets? That's normal. They shrink and disappear as the film cures, usually within a week or two. Parking in the sun actually speeds up the drying. Don't press or poke at them.
Wait about a week before cleaning the inside of the glass. After that, use a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner. Ammonia can break down the film and its adhesive over time.
If something doesn't look right after the cure time, like a bubble that won't go away, a lifting edge, or debris under the film, bring the car back and we'll take a look.
